Hi!
Just been looking on YouTube at a really impressive TD showreel and it featured a spine setup that utilises a C++ DG Node. I've come across the spinewave and ribbon setups in the past but this is new to me. Had a look on the internet for more information but proved fruitless.
Could anybody give me a simple quick explanation of what this is and what it does, or point me in the right direction?
Cheers, Happy New Year!
greatbear...
Can you provide a link to the video?
Yeah no probs:
Not sure how he's done it, but uses widgets to control the shape of the squash and stretch - any ideas on this also?
Cheers

Nice reel :D
Yeah, figured it (duh!)
C++ is maya's scripting language and DG node stands for the dependency graph connections - ie the node connections made in the hypergraph. Basically he's saying he's used a bit of MEL and the hypergraph.
