I am about to create a leg rigging script and I thought it might be useful to get some opinions on what you guys think is the perfect leg rig. I will post my progress as I set about this task.
I like to keep it fairly simple
FK/IK
and in the IK, having FK on top of it for offsets.
it's kinda FK/(IK->FK) if you will
Foot rocker on the IK (you can go all out on the foot rocker or keep it simple)
So let me get this straight. You constrain the rig jnts to the IK chain then you constrain the IK jnts to the FK chain.
