    Is Cloth, Fur, Hair knowledge is necessary for Rigging? I'm so confuse. Please explain.

    Depends on the studio I would say

    At work we have a special team dedicated to Cloth

    Hair we can either take care of or if it´s too specialized it can go to another team too. it all depends really.

    If your a freelancer then I'd say yes sadly. It seems more often now that when I'm contacted about rigging hair usually gets mentioned, not as much cloth. I could see in larger pipelines being almost totally separate though.

    Handy to know both anyways as they offer a lot of handy functionality to building certain kinds of rig setups. I mean in my app of choice we often use hair for spline dynamics or surface constrained joints and things things onto a hidden cloth objects
